How long after plugging in the G27 does it start to do its calibration spins? I have a brand new one and a slightly older G27. The older G27 starts spinning immediately after plugging it in to a computer or PS3, while the new one takes at least 5 seconds, which causes a few problems with my computer.

My G27 is immediate. Probably around 5 years old now.

My older one is immediate as well, but my newer one takes 5 seconds.

My G25 takes a few seconds before starting, and probably does the cycle about 3 times in a boot sequence, likely due to the port turning off momentarily.

Right away. Then it does it again when you start GT5. Then it does it again when you give in and install updates. Then it does it again when the game starts again.

If all functions well, it should start right away. In fact, all wheels should.

Really not sure why a newer model would be different in that regard. Would need someone with a newer model to chime in to make sure. How come it is causing problems with your computer?

My computer recognizes it and then doesnt, and then it does again. Its weird.
